What can I say? This wedding was one for the books. I know we are not supposed to have favorites as wedding photographers, but I think this wedding was one of my favorites ever. :)
There were so many precious, heartfelt moments throughout the day, and the love that the bride and groom had for each other and for their friends and families was beautiful. Due to unprecedented Covid circumstances, their wedding looked different than they first imagined, but it turned out perfect in every way.
There is something so spectacular about the moments when a bride is getting ready. Anticipation and excitement fills the room. Sun streams through the windows. The day begins.
These images take me right back to this charming summer wedding.
This wedding was the smallest one I have ever photographed. With only 12 guests due to Covid restrictions, it was an intimate and personal wedding. What a beautiful sight to see such love and commitment, especially during such a unique year!
Photography is a joy for me because of people and moments like these. These two braved the wind and cold this weekend for their engagement photos, and their smiles were contagious! Congrats on your engagement, Terka and Vojta!
This is the autumn that keeps extending and bringing warm light and delightful crisp afternoons. Some of us may be longing for snow soon, but until then, I am grateful for the chance to have a few last photo sessions this fall. This family brought so much joy to an otherwise regular Thursday!
Logan came into the city with his family for senior photos, and it could not have been a better day for exploring Chicago. Congratulations on graduating soon, Logan!
